GIS Data Hub

DWN uses an online geographic information system (GIS) as a tool for project management and for monitoring our activities. Key activities and interventions are mapped regularly by staff and volunteers and uploaded to the DWN GIS information hub:

• Integrated information flows: Data is collected with cell phone apps in the field and directly uploaded onto central databases.
• Management support: The continuously updated online GIS provides staff easy access to relevant information, supporting effective monitoring, analysis and decision-making.
• Transparency: Public access of project interventions and results through the online information hub allows donors and partners to remain completely up to date on the progress of activities we have implemented in the field.
